I’m Too Sexy will look to put her foot issues behind her when she takes part in the upcoming spring carnival and the 2013 Thousand Guineas.
The three-year-old won the $200,000 Magic Millions Clockwise Classic at Ballarat in her debut race start, however, failed to perform up to her ability in the Group 3 BJ McLachlan Stakes and $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
I’m Too Sexy has been on a long spell since the Magic Millions in January and is now ready to return according to trainer Mark Riley.
Riley insists that the Reaan filly is back to her best ahead of the 2013 Thousand Guineas in October.
“In hindsight, we shouldn’t have chased the two million-dollar race but you only get one crack at it,” Riley told AAP.
“She had won very well at Ballarat so we took her to Queensland but she had problems with her feet up there and was never one hundred per cent.
“Her feet are right again, we’ve had no problems with her and she’s going to the races fit and well.
“She hasn’t taken any harm from it, she’s had a good spell and she’s going into Saturday looking really well.
“We always thought she would be better as a three-year-old.”
I’m Too Sexy will have her first run of the new season at Moonee Valley Racecourse tomorrow, where she will contest the 1,000 metre Aquanas Foods Handicap.
