Pasadena Girl has continued to receive steady support through the first 24 hours of Thousand Guineas betting at Ladbrokes.com.au and has cut into equal favouritism alongside the in-form Stay With Me at a quote of $4.20.

Taking out each of the Listed Talindert Stakes (1100m) and Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (1200m) upon debuting to racing in autumn, Pasadena Girl ran on for a credible fourth in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) before taking out the Group 1 Champagne Stakes (1600m) on April 18th.

Returning this time for a close second in the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m) on September 5th, the Savabeel filly ran on for fifth in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) on September 26th and appears primed for success in her return to a mile.

Stay With Me’s chances for success in the Thousand Guineas took a huge boost on Tuesday when she was allocated the ideal barrier 4 and leading hoop Dwayne Dunn was confirmed to take the ride.

Running second in the Talindert Stakes on debut before placing fifth in the talent-rich Group 2 Reisling Stakes (1200m), Stay With Me returned this time for consecutive wins in the APM Group 3.y.o Maiden Plate (1200m) and Atlantic Jewel Stakes before placing sixth in the Prelude race last time.

Badawiya ($5.50) stormed home to win the Group 2 Edward Manifold Stakes (1600m) last weekend and appears primed for success in the Thousand Guineas.

Posting three wins and two minors through six career starts so far, Badawiya has made a meteoric rise to prominence since winning a Murtoa minor over 1200m on August 15th.

Having placed seventh in the Atlantic Jewel Stakes, the Al Maher filly charged home to win a 1400m race at Pakenham on September 23rd before posting a career-best result in the Edward Manifold Stakes last time.

Miss Gunpowder ($6) arguably offers punters the best value for money in 2015 Thousand Guineas betting markets and currently figures as the only other runner available at a quote of less-than $10.

Consistent filly Jameka is worth consideration at $10 odds for success, while Group 1 performer Sagaronne ($15) will relish a return to her pet distance.
